It is incredible to me that this earth was populated by a completely different order, some characteristics to various contemporary bird species (chicken anyone?), hardly any resemblance to mammalia. The article covers a new discovery of a site where it appears we have a snapshot in to the events that took a few months, and wiped out over 99.999% of all life on the planet, including all dinosaurs... The entire planet was sent back to the dark ages.
