If you reside entirely within a right-leaning information ecosystem online, you probably think the big story of the just-completed Supreme Court term is the stab-in-the-back betrayal of the right by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett. Roberts and Barrett have now joined the already far-too-lengthy list of jurists (including, in recent memory, Justices David Souter and Anthony Kennedy) who were appointed by Republican presidents only to 'evolve' in a leftward direction once ensconced on the high court.
