Colchester Film Festival is an international film festival taking place at the Firstsite visual arts facility in Colchester from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th of October 2013The festival is dedicated to discovering and showcasing the best filmmaking talent from the UK and around the world as well as hosting a series of workshops and master classes to give audiences an insight into the creative process behind films and inspire the next generation of filmmakers.Our entertaining programme features 40 films from 13 countries selected from over 1500 entries including world and UK premieres. We’re honoured to have Philip Bloom (online film guru), Tim Loane (creator of Teachers), Terry Rawlings (Editor of Alien & Blade Runner) and Ronnie Thompson (Director of Tower Block) judging the 2013 film programme.
