summer volunteer at wogrammer

Type: Startup Position - Full Time at wogrammer EXPIRED

About wogrammer: Wogrammer's mission is to highlight amazing women engineers and break stereotypes one story at a time.
wogrammer is an award-winning women's advocacy group focused on breaking stereotypes to bridge the gender gap in STEM fields. In the last 1.5 years we have interviewed over 150 women engineers across 7 continents and reach over 1.7 million users in last quarter through our stories about these engineers. We were recently recognized as one of Foreign Policy's Top 100 Global Thinkers for our work in diversity and are now putting a book which would include some of these inspirational stories along with research information we have on our end. We are looking for a summer volunteer who is able to dedicate 6-10 hrs per week in getting the book together. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: helping put research material for the book together, coordinating some of the interviews, help with managing the licensing and release forms. Not only would you make significant impact in moving the needle around diversity tech, but also be featured in the book if you would like at the end of a successful internship. If interested, please send a copy of your resume with a short blurb about why you are interested in this opportunity to wogrammer@gmail.com
